You didn't unequip custom gear from your rider before you installed a new gear pack. Seems like the guys releasing the skins have neglected to mention this in their skin packs. You will need to reset your game progress now. To do this, locate a file called 'savegame.bxml'. Open it in a hex editor, and delete the last 4 bytes of the file, and save.
