Just picked up the game, I thought my crashing problems were because of Windows 8, but i downloaded a custom track and it works fine. How do i fix the vanilla tracks?

mcm2boys

This is a known issue and will be fixed in the next release..

release of what? I just got the game, i have no mods. Also is it possible to run the game in 1920 x 1080?

mcm2boys

:) when you said vanilla tracks i thought you were talking about vanilla custom tracks, so i was talkng about the release of the track editor - but i guess not.

It's possible to run in any screen resolution that your gfx card supports, but everything is rendered in 1280 x 720 and then resized to the screen size you have selected.

lol, i should have been more clear. I meant that the game crashes when i try to race on tracks like lago and jupiter park, tracks that come with the game. Is there a fix? my card supports 1920 x 1080, the only resolution i have in game is 1280 x 720.

Apologies, i just realised this is the unleashed section, i thought it was Reflex - so you can ignore anything that i have said here.. :)

lol its ok, do you know anything about unleashed?

mcm2boys

i did used to, but i'm afraid it's a distant memory now.. you've probably already tried running in admin mode, or compatibility mode using an older Win OS, that's pretty much all i got..

yeah, thats why  i came here. im stumped as to why custom tracks work, but not the tracks that shipped with the game.
