Big lag! help!

Hey guys, when i get onto mx vs atv reflex and start playing iv noticed i lag quite allot...

My computer specs are

nVidia 870m
i7 4710hq processor
16 gb ram

i see no reason why i shuld be lagging on low details and shadowing off.... any suggestions on how to fix?

tbh Reflex has a very low frame rate, i don't think the game engine is very efficient. What kind of frame rates are you looking at? I've struggled to get more than 20-30fps with i7 1.73GHz with nVidia FX2800 gfx card.

Apat from switching some of the advanced options off, i don't believe there is much that you can do to improve it. Some people have had success with turning off cores, since it seems to run better on 2 cores - but that's all i can offer..

i was having a similar problem on my alienware 17", but a couple weeks prior it was running awesome. All i did, was go to your desktop, open the Task Manager and then go over to the Startup tab, and any of the startup processes that have a high CPU Usage or Startup Impact, disable them, only if your not using them of course. Although it is only a startup modification, it made a signifcant difference in my computer's overall performance.
