Need some help SOP... resolution prob...

I just got a new PC with a ATI Radeon X740 XL but when I try to turn my resolution higher then 1024x768, it won't fit on my screen... it does 'scroll' when I go to the edges with my mouse... but I want it all to fit on the screen... any help???

 Meh nevermind... I found something I never even knew about... you can set a maximum resolution for ur screen...mine was 1024x768...

you may think that its max 1024x768 but if you remove all the monitor drivers and install  either a standard or a plug an play monitor dirvers instead. was able to get the monitor from 1024 to 2000 by doing that.. but make sure you got dirvers backed up somewhere..

Meh I can put the max to 3200x1300 or something

it was just what i can on my old gt2 32mb card.
but that was not the point i said it so others get bigger rez than the oem monitor drivers allow

Oh like that Gonna try it with this one cuz I cant even select higher then 1024x768 on this one
