Like new. Sat in woods near Doylestown, PA. French saw car c.1939, and tried to buy it. Told Lyon about it, and he bought it for $5000. 10 yrs to rebuild. Boiler #7044-1, #521 on wood near engine support. Engine pan stamped with name of maker.

Restored and modifies for long distance touring. Rebuilt from 2 cars by Bourdon; one believed to be a 1913. The majority of the car originally owned by Chas. Simonton of St. Johnsbury, VT. Car has made 4 "Trans-Con" Tours 1972-89.

Better information now available. Mackintire owned car as early as 1913. Simanton car donated front seat & several aluminum body parts. Now has hydraulic front brakes. New boiler 1998. Articles about the 1972 8300-mile round trip appear in The Steam Automobile, 1972, v14 # 4, and in Bulb Horn, May-Jun 1973.
