Ok.. I'm sure this has been talked about several times..but I didn't want to dig for the topic. Anyhow, I'm running windows XP with MCM2 on my H: Drive. I has become very frustrating, everytime I start a race off line I get kicked to the desktop just after leaving the starting gate. I re-enter the game, and same thing. Usually at the same point too.

So my question: Anyone have some ideas? maybe change a setting? This was happening a lot when I had windows media player kicking my tunes.. but I tried it without it running, and same thing.

Maybe try putting the MCM.exe that's on your Desktop in WIN98/ME Compatibilty mode, if you haven't already - right click on it and choose Properties. What else have you tried?

I have had it set to Win95 compatiablity mode.. but what I recently did was change my desktop wallpaper to "none" and it seems to work fine. Not sure why that would affect anything, but so far so good.  I'll keep you posted if it keeps up.  Lately tho my machine has had a mind of it's own.  (problems occur when no one is around, then it behaves when they are)
