alright I used about half as much contrast as the others. Tell me how it looks ...

Actually...I only used 1 filter and that was to blur it...

If you only used blur then my best gues would be something like:

Image > Adjustments > Desaturate
Layer > Duplicate Layer...
Image > Adjustments > Invert
Layer mode = Linear Dodge
Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blurr... > some number making it look as desired.

Ok... I'm amazed that you got most of that stuff right!  Actually though, i used color dodge but who's counting.
