PS - I had some hosting trouble trying to upload this file!
It was 48mb, but after some image editing I got it down to 3mb!
If this becomes too much for my host, maybe Bruce can host the file?

----------------------------------------------------------------
BTW - You can try my 1st MTX SX track here:
http://troysweb.com/mtx/AMAKing001.TRK

Save the track to your - x:\MTX\Game\Save - folder.

FYI - My game install folder looks like this:
E:\Games\MTX\Game\Save & my track file = AMA_001.TRK (16 KB)
- yours might be in C:\Program Files\MTX? or C:\Aspyr\MTX? etc.

To load the track:  Save the file you download - "AMAKing001.TRK" - to your - x:\MTX\Save\Game folder.  Start the game and choose the EXHIBITION mode, then choose CREATED TRACK, then choose - AMAKing001

AMA_DirtTwister

I can host it, or to be a backup for you.

Well, it's not much right now...

After I reduced the res. of the screenshots, I printed it and it looks like crap on my printer.  I have an inkjet and was using really cheap paper that absorbed the ink and made it blurry.

I hope it looks OK and proves to be a helpful reference - at least if you view it on a PC screen.  I used a Word.doc because I like to print tutorials so I don't have to ALT/TAB to a web site tut, or print a web site that usually paginates poorly.

Anyway, my plan is to finish making the individual track piece reference sheets.
After that , I will try to put some  "creator theory" into words...  and a quick tips sheet...

If anyone wants to add some "creator theory" - please e-mail it to me!
I will QUOTE and CREDIT the original (first) contributor if I use the info you submit.

The quick tips sheet will be things that "I" think are important like:

Allow enough "runway" before a jump so racers can clear an obstacle and land it sucessfully.
- Amateurs should be able to land it at least 1 out of 5 laps on the first moto they run on your track.
-- Amateurs will NOT run your track EVER again if they can't clear ANYTHING!
- Try to give any racer at least 2-3 out of 5 GOOD landings on 5 lap motos.
-- To me - a GOOD landing means - landing on the downslope and maintaing MOMENTUM!
- Pro riders should be able to NAIL any jump 4-5 times in a 5 lap moto.
-- THINK - FLOW...

Multiple lines... can the same section be taken as a:
Triple, double AND a double, triple?
NOTE:  This probably isn't going to happen with just an SX tile EDITOR...

Anyone want to add your $2.00?
- $.02 cents just ain't enough anymore!
