transparent (alpha) layered objects

well i made an object with alpha layers.. saved it as a 32 bit with the alpha layers on..  (set to 50% opacity) and i placed it in d2 and it comes up pink in mcm2...

Have you used D2 in the past? Did you have any problems?

I get the same pink thing, but its on all objects. With alpha layer, without, with pink transparency, or without.
Are any of your other objects pink?

Interesting, maybe you guys can give your systems specs, especialy CPU and gfx card & drivers for comparing. Maybe it's the same thing causing both problems, apart form D2.

yes i used d2 before... and i hace a athlon xp 2100 cpu connected to a abit mobo idk which one.. 256  ram ati 9000 pro 128 ddr ram.. 80gb maxtor

Maybe you could send me the object and the alpha tex to try out. I also ATI, but have 9500 Pro and it works fine on mine, i think.

Which gfx drivers are you using, Catalyst ?.?

yeah im using Catalyst  drivers.. or the ones off the ati site idk... ill send u the files..

hmm not much in common there then. two_four, which version of windows are you using and what is the version of the Catalyst drivers?
