hey i was wondering if any one can help me i get this error win i start up 3d max 3.1 thanks

that very easy to fix

just right clik  your max  shortcut   and click options    ..

the  put -h  behind this line

C:\program files\3dmax3\3dsmax.exe    (normal)

C:\program files\3dmax3\3dsmax.exe -H   The fix 

remove the h when you get it to work..
