
Generator
This picture is a generator rotor suspended outside it's normal resting place. You can see
how large it is. It's home is inside the generator visible at the end of the rotor.

This is a picture of the stator. It's the stationary part of the generator that the rotor sits inside of.

When all assembled a typical layout looks like this. The stator and generator rotor is enclosed
the long cylindrical container to the left of the small building on the end. The larger enclosures
further to the left are where the turbines are located that are powered by steam. The steam is carried through
those large pipes.
