Turbine

This picture is an overview showing the inside of the Turbine Building. The turbine and generator are very large. This picture gives you some idea of the scale and I've labeled where the generator and turbine are located. One of the turbine blade assemblies has been opened up in this picture.

This is a close up of the turbine blades.

Here is an even close view. Notice how corroded they are.

The plant is the busiest during a refueling outage. A tremendous amount of work is done over a 30 day period. a lot of work has to be coordinated. The turbines are swapped out for reconditioned ones. Here is a close up of one waiting to be installed.
